Site-Seeker, Inc., a leading digital marketing agency in Central New York, raised more than $5,000 for the Michael J. Fox Foundation at its 2018 Putts for Parkinson’s Golf Tournament. This brings Site-Seeker’s all-time total to more than $13,000, highlighting the agency’s ongoing commitment to eradicating Parkinson’s Disease. An annual affair, the funds raised directly benefit Parkinson’s Disease research, a cause close to the hearts of Site-Seeker’s co-founders, Eddie and Brian Bluff.
The Bluff brothers are all too familiar with the debilitating effects of Parkinson’s Disease. They watched their own mother, Mickey, battle with Parkinson’s for over 20 years, before she passed away in 2017.
“We watched Parkinson’s Disease slowly take pieces of our mother from us: her ability to walk, her ability to speak and care for her family,” said Site-Seeker CEO and Co-Founder Brian Bluff. “Defeating Parkinson’s Disease is something that means a lot, not just to the Bluff family, but to all of Site-Seeker, which is why our entire team is so passionate about the Putts for Parkinson’s event and its impact.”
The Michael J. Fox Foundation is a patient-focused research group, dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson’s Disease and continually improving the treatments and therapies available to patients ailing with the disease. Site-Seeker is a long-time donor to the Foundation and has so far contributed more than $13,000 to Parkinson’s Disease research.
In addition to raising money, Putts for Parkinson’s also provided fun and entertainment to nearly 50 guests at Kanon Valley Country Club. The 18-hole scramble-style tournament gave away nearly $4,000 in cash and prizes, with many cash-prize winners graciously donating their winnings back to the Michael J. Fox Foundation. Numerous local usa bitcoin casino businesses also contributed, including Washer Solutions in Victor, NY; Sturges Manufacturing Co. in Utica, NY; DeIorio’s Foods in Utica, NY; Rudy Schmid Total Car Care in Syracuse, NY; and Northland Communications in Holland Patent, NY.
