Job Overview
The sales specialist focuses on many things, but the most important is results. This candidate will promote our company as a leader in the digital marketing space. He/she will drive sales and marketing activities en route to building and selling our digital marketing programs, technology solutions, and services. The sales specialist actively prospects in the business community, builds relationships, constantly networks, and establishes connections made up of our most important buyer personas. The sales specialist will be assigned a sales territory, key objectives, and revenue goals. These goals will be met through sales efforts and supported through marketing, personal branding, speaking/training, and by leveraging past and present relationships.
Requirements
- A constant focus on impact, ROI, and sales goals.
- Education in business, marketing or related field.
- Five or more years experience in digital marketing sales or related industry.
- Accomplished speaker and writer.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to sell, procure and generate new business and nurture existing client accounts and relationships.
- Documented experience/ability to write, read, negotiate and interpret contracts.
- Expert understanding of digital marketing concepts including SEO, SEM, automation, lead intelligence, social media, and content management.
- Skilled at reviewing web and customer analytic data to make educated decisions about digital marketing programs and their effect on business.
- Knowledge of marketing and sales-related software such as ActiveCampaign, SEMrush, and Salesforce.
- Superior writing and presentation skills.
- Proven track record in managing budgets and achieving company and client-related sales goals.
